Some of you out there reading my blog are bound to be either parents, brothers, or sisters of a young child. And nowadays, with all the Publishing Companies, most books are a bunch of crap (pardon the language). Fred. Yes Fred. He is the awesomest 6 year old you will EVER meet. Fred is a Character played by an older guy, maybe 16?  No one really knows how old he is. He uses computer editing to make his voice very high pitched. "Fred" is a 6 year old kid with an achoholic mom. His real dad is an ex-rockstar who is now in jail. Fred is stalked by a weirdo on youtube and is bullied by a kid named Kevin. Fred is madly in love with Judy. Fred also despises Judy. Why Can't Girls Like Science Fiction?

I Love Science Fiction. I won't lie. Now most girls my age would never admit that. In order to be seen as your steriotypical "girl" you must love three things: Clothes, Makeup, and Boys. 

Unfourtunatley, for me, its: Starships, Blowups, and Robots. Now don't get me wrong. I'm no Tom Boy. I like to dress up in pink and purple as much as the next girl. I wear makeup, comb my hair, giggle, gossip (well, not to much of that...) and straighten up when a cute boy walks by. But at  home, time to put on my Star Trek: Voyager t-shirt, grab my Stuffed Turtle and a Grape Popsicle and curl up in front of the "Spike" and "Sci-fi" channels. When I was a bit younger, the thought of anyone knowing I liked Science Fiction horrifyed me. I kept it my best hid secret. Now I'm a bit more loosed lipped about it. I'm even attending my first convention this august! Now I wonder why it is not popular for a girl to admit to loving Sci-fi? Why is it that girls are expected to play with baby dolls and barbies, while guys get to play with action figures and remote control cars? Some times I feel like the only girl on the planet who likes these shows!  Why is it that when someone says "Nerd" shows like Star Trek, Star Wars, and Doctor Who come to mind? These are things I have always wondered...If you have any ideas, feel free to post a comment...

 Fan Faction are stories made up by fans or admirers of movies, books com, and T.V. shows. It takes the plot of an existing story, and plays it up in some way. Fanfiction.gives fans everywhere a chance to express themselves, and read other fan fiction too! It is a website composed of many, MANY catagories. Fans everywhere join and post their work on it. Other fans then read, rate, and review the fiction. It is a great way for a young author to get started.

SMILE is a bit of a weird band, but their music is very upbeat and fun. They are Actually Swedish, but are very popular in Japan. Their Members are Hannah and Veronica. 

7.  Puffy

Also known as Puffy AmiYumi, This is a very popular band in japan. They are also Famous in American for their Television show on Cartoon Network. 

6.  Ayumi lee

Ayumi Lee is a very popular Pop singer, who used to be in the girl group "Sugar", but is now solo. She is famous for her songs, such as Cute Honey. 

5.  Mika Nakashima

Mika is an Actress, Singer and Model. Several of her songs have become theme songs to Anime, such as Blood +

4.  Ayumi Hamasaki

Ayumi, known as "Ayu" by her fans, has been dubbed "Empress of J-pop" due to her popularity in Japan. Her debut "Poker Face" has sold over 50 million Albums alone. 

3.  Do as Infinity

Do as Infinity was an extremely popular band in Japan, but they only lasted 6 years. After the album TAO, the band broke up. 

2.  Tata young

Tata Young is a very popular American/Thai singer. Although her songs are amazing, there is a lot of controversy about her. Many parents do not allow their children to listen to Tata's music, because of the content, such as in the song "El Nin YO!" 

1.  Utada Hikaru

Utada Hikaru, known as by her fans as "Hikki", is a Pop singer unlike no other. She uses a form of "Jap-lish" (a combonation of English and Japanese) in her music. Her Music is also used in the Hit video game, Kingdom Hearts.
